Hello all,

As a new member of the distinguished model aeronautics organization affectionately known as FlyRC, I've been offered the unique honor and distinction of organizing a bus trip to the WRAM show at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, NJ next February.

I've asked for some estimates and will be getting more before making any commitment, but it looks like the cost would be between $30 and $35 per person for round trip fare. 

Many members of the club have expressed an interest in attending, but don't want to drive to the Meadowlands. This seems like an excellent alternative. Obviously, the more people that participate, the lower the cost for each. To keep the price in the range I quoted, we would need close to 40 people to go. 

If there's money left over, I would refund the excess, or buy some beers for the ride back--you guys decide. If we get enough people to participate, I could get the price down to $25 each.

In any case, I would like a relative head count to find out if it makes any sense for me to continue with this project. I don't have everyone's email address, so please spread the word and tell anyone interested to get back to me at kpblau@earthlink.net.

We should include members of any of the surrounding clubs, like New Milford and Shelton. This would be a large charter bus, so there should be plenty of extra room in the baggage compartment for planes, and any other junk we want to waste your money on.
